5. BANK OF AMERICA
Even though they have a decent credit card, mortgage options, and a simple to use online website – their bank itself is riddled with fees. You’ll find a $35 OVERDRAFT FEE…a $30 WIRE TRANSFER FEE…A $15 INCOMING Wire Transfer Fee and $15 Cashiers Check FEE….a $5 lost card replacement fee with $15 rush delivery….and even though they have a WHOLE BUNCH of other random fees, on top of random fees…all without earning much interest.

4. HSBC Bank
After some recent issues, all accounts under $75,000 will be closed, as well as businesses who operate with less than $5 million dollars in annual revenue. As a resul, HSBC pulled the rug on its customers…shut down accounts worth less than $75,000…and then sold themselves to a bank that charges even HIGHER fees.

3. Wells Fargo
This one has a checkered past, but the account itself is full of low interest and fees. Their platinum account carries a $12 monthly maintenance fee unless you keep a minimum balance of $3500 per month…and you get an interest rate of 0.01%. S

2. CITIBANK
One of the MANY reasons I cancelled them, was because their MOBILE deposit limit was SO LOW…at a whopping $1000 per day, or $3000 per month. Now, you might think to yourself…”BUT GRAHAM! $1000 PER DAY IS A LOT! THAT’S $365,000 PER YEAR!”….except, when you have any SINGLE check above $1000…even if it’s $1001…you can’t deposit it through the mobile app…and, if you exceed $3000 per month…you’re out of luck….and you’ll either need to stand in LINE to deposit a check in person, or mail it to them…which, I’m not doing.
